Look at their little fingers
Sladey -- Tuesday, November 16, 2004 -- 02:59:30 PMcan we post pictures of our kids?

You can post pictures using the handy drop-down HTML list at the bottom! They need to be hosted somewhere first though.
I'd like to send some pics for the gallery too, if you do it that way. I've been using Photobox lately, but although I can link to my pics there, I can't actually use "img src" to post them on boards.
Thanks, Sarah! No, I don't mind a wait at all, or a group blog, whatever. Anyway, WX isn't quite dead yet.
Just to keep us all going, I've posted some baby pix on the blog
Wow, she's getting big, isn't she? I like that pinky red on her.
How much younger is the little boy?
I take it you've not mentioned that to the parents?? Some friends of ours produced a miniature Jasper Carrott - very odd.
Some friends of ours produced a miniature Clive James. He doesn't look so much like him now he's 12, though.
I just have to mention this somewhere. While B. and I were walking to the Christmas market yesterday with his second cousins, he turned to me and said, "Mama, I am happy". Awwww.
(Of course today he denies all knowledge and insists he didn't have a fun time, but I know better).
Oh how lovely Fiona!
Mr B was full of their Christingle service yesterday - he carefully explained the significance of the various bits of the orange. The thing is, on each cocktail stick they had skewered a jelly baby as well as the sultanas. It was a bit gruesome - Jelly babies are easy to pierce, I know but even so... [ these, in different colours, represented the seasons!]
How disconcerting! It was dolly mixtures and sultanas last time I went to one.
I did wonder if the symbolism might be of the Slaughter of the Innocents
BB - if you haven't got all of Penguin Boy's presents, have a look at Fergus Crane by Paul Stewart & Chris Riddell - there seem to be some penguin characters. I've just bought it for Mr B - it's possibly a bit too old for him - but I just love Riddell's illustrations, and it's a beautiful book - the cover unfolds into a map - hard back - £8.99. It's just won the Smarties prize
Thanks! They have no idea what they want for Christmas and of course I haven't had much chance to shop for them yet, so I'll look out for that one.
Oh, BB, I couldn't resist it - check out the festive icon on my bloggy thing (yes, I really don't have enough to do in work).
Hope the artist doesn't mind the liberty taken with his work....
