You can post pictures using the handy drop-down HTML list at the bottom! They need to be hosted somewhere first though.

They need to be hosted somewhere first though.

This is a problem, as B's picture site is password protected. Maybe I'll work something out, though. It'd be a shame if I couldn't show him off occasionally, somehow.

If you don't mind a bit of a wait, Fiona, you could send me the pix and I could create a 'Little Fingers' gallery on my webspace.

Sladey -- Wednesday, November 17, 2004 -- 09:14:40 AM -- 4 of 2400

Or, we could do a 'Little Fingers' group blog...just a thought

boogiebabe -- Wednesday, November 17, 2004 -- 11:09:51 AM -- 5 of 2400

I'd like to send some pics for the gallery too, if you do it that way. I've been using Photobox lately, but although I can link to my pics there, I can't actually use "img src" to post them on boards.

Thanks, Sarah! No, I don't mind a wait at all, or a group blog, whatever. Anyway, WX isn't quite dead yet.

Sladey -- Friday, November 26, 2004 -- 12:07:08 PM -- 7 of 2400

OK, I'll try and fit it in when I get a spare moment around Xmas. We could use this as a test group blog.

Sladey -- Thursday, December 02, 2004 -- 03:52:38 PM -- 8 of 2400

Just to keep us all going, I've posted some baby pix on the blog

boogiebabe -- Thursday, December 02, 2004 -- 03:58:51 PM -- 9 of 2400

Wow, she's getting big, isn't she? I like that pinky red on her.

How much younger is the little boy?

Sladey -- Thursday, December 02, 2004 -- 04:16:40 PM -- 10 of 2400

He's exactly eight months younger. He's got his dad's huge hands, eyes and mouth, which means he looks like Gollum.

I take it you've not mentioned that to the parents?? Some friends of ours produced a miniature Jasper Carrott - very odd.

Sladey -- Thursday, December 02, 2004 -- 08:10:31 PM -- 12 of 2400

His mother said it first, honest!

boogiebabe -- Thursday, December 02, 2004 -- 08:43:13 PM -- 13 of 2400

Some friends of ours produced a miniature Clive James. He doesn't look so much like him now he's 12, though.

Fiona -- Tuesday, December 14, 2004 -- 08:22:16 AM -- 14 of 2400

I just have to mention this somewhere. While B. and I were walking to the Christmas market yesterday with his second cousins, he turned to me and said, "Mama, I am happy". Awwww.

(Of course today he denies all knowledge and insists he didn't have a fun time, but I know better).

Sladey -- Tuesday, December 14, 2004 -- 08:24:31 AM -- 15 of 2400

Oh sweeeet!

Bedsprings -- Tuesday, December 14, 2004 -- 08:35:28 AM -- 16 of 2400

Oh how lovely Fiona!

Mr B was full of their Christingle service yesterday - he carefully explained the significance of the various bits of the orange. The thing is, on each cocktail stick they had skewered a jelly baby as well as the sultanas. It was a bit gruesome - Jelly babies are easy to pierce, I know but even so... [ these, in different colours, represented the seasons!]

boogiebabe -- Tuesday, December 14, 2004 -- 12:56:20 PM -- 17 of 2400

How disconcerting! It was dolly mixtures and sultanas last time I went to one.

Bedsprings -- Tuesday, December 14, 2004 -- 01:57:23 PM -- 18 of 2400

I did wonder if the symbolism might be of the Slaughter of the Innocents

BB - if you haven't got all of Penguin Boy's presents, have a look at Fergus Crane by Paul Stewart & Chris Riddell - there seem to be some penguin characters. I've just bought it for Mr B - it's possibly a bit too old for him - but I just love Riddell's illustrations, and it's a beautiful book - the cover unfolds into a map - hard back - £8.99. It's just won the Smarties prize

boogiebabe -- Tuesday, December 14, 2004 -- 02:07:33 PM -- 19 of 2400

Thanks! They have no idea what they want for Christmas and of course I haven't had much chance to shop for them yet, so I'll look out for that one.

LisaFC -- Tuesday, December 14, 2004 -- 02:08:54 PM -- 20 of 2400

Oh, BB, I couldn't resist it - check out the festive icon on my bloggy thing (yes, I really don't have enough to do in work).

Hope the artist doesn't mind the liberty taken with his work....
